Bonjour!

Does anyone know if there is any way of a Windows Server sending out info about itself via LLDP? I know how to do it from the network side of things (and I know ESX hosts do it), just no idea if Windows Server is capable

Any ideas?

I R confused. Do you mean you want the server to do this, or are you trying to stop it from doing it in the first place?

Sorry I wanted to know if the server would send it out

Turns out that 2K8 does do it, but 2K3 doesn't unless you fudge it
