Local advice - Middlesbrough

If this is the wrong place to post this please point me in the right direction.

I have a 182 that is just over three years old. It was running fine with no problems up until recently. My mistake was to take it into the local Renault dealer, who for the bargain price of about £540 serviced it so that now it runs roughly on idle and feels like it's going to stall if I let the revs drop sometimes.

I'm not prepared to take it back to the dealer because I can't be bothered arguing the toss with them, and frankly I don't trust them not to make matters worse. Lesson learned, no more dealers for me. So, is there any place around Middlesbrough or Redcar that people can recommend as knowing what they're doing?

Also, I'm guessing that my exhaust is going to need changing pretty soon (no problems but is 3 years now), and I was thinking of getting a stainless steel replacement. Any recommendations for what to order and where to get it fitted?

Mendal Motors is a top place Renault Specialist 01642602055 they guy knows his stuff, and is quite cheap in all honesty and the bonus is its near you

Mendal motors are spot on, they were really good on Barrons car, and we were going to be using em today but we fixed the track car

As for exhausts AAS in newcastle make amazing systems, fully custom systems can tone them depending on what you want, both me and Barron have them, then Hutchie also has one with a Decat on his 1.2 it sound amazing

i got my exhaust supplied and fitted by revolution in duntson,miltek full system and decat fitted for £465

I payed 500, for my cstom build AAS stainless steal system, custom brackets and single box system, also had it tuned down for motorway use i love it tho
