Been to Renault today. They quoted me £30 to send off for a new one.
Went ahead and the guy came out to photograph my locking nut, turns out it's not genuine.
What's my options now?
Obviously got to try and get these ones off, any recommendations on how?
Also any recommendations on a decent replacement set?
I dont bother with lockers on my standard wheels. Unless I had an expensive set of wheels or tyres on the car they are more hassle than they are worth.
Hammer a normal socket over them if you can. I used a impact driver in conjunction with the aforementioned. Worked a treat. What worked even better was the key I got from the scrappy though. .
My local scrap yard is crap.
Don't get much choice in deepest depths of cornwall.
Will try getting them off with socket and if that fails then the linked "specialist" tools
