Logic behind only being able to use NCB on one car?

I didn't know this was the case untill fairly recently.

But why can't I use the 4 years NCB i have on another car aswell?

Just cant't.. 1 policy at a time can have your NCB, You can build up more then 1 NCB, mate of mine has 3 on one and 6 on another

So you use the same NCB on both cars? Not legally you cant

yes you can. A LOT of insurers will let you mirror your no claims

really? that's pretty decent, Thought it was 1 car 1 NCB

Yeah never understood it, can i only drive one at once.

TBH i'd have put i had 4 years NCB anyway if i bought a second car, didn't know you couldn't till quite recently.
