Anyone else with a modded Clio in Central London having trouble getting renewals?

My previous insurer refused to renew based on my E14 postcode. Best price ringing around is £980. I'm in my 50s with full no claims, one SP50 from 2020.

Ok disaster averted - managed to find a deal for £650, more than I paid last year but a lot better than £980.

I got a quote of £11,000 per month, for 3rd party only with no add-ons! lol! Insurance is crazy. Got it down to £300 with Sterling Insurance.

LV Highway via Keith Michaels. Interestingly, other brokers were refused cover by LV Highway, so it seems Keith Michaels have some secret sauce.

London is an absolute nightmare these days. I refuse to go there anymore. Worked up there for a number of years, it really is a mess.
