From what I can remember about various bits that Ive read:
will need to put it on suspension jacks as the tyres will suffer if you leave it standing as you would normally.
park it in gear, without the handbrake on, as it will seize on otherwise.
Would say get a trickle charger to keep the battery topped up but you could always just take it out and put one in when you want to run it.
garage/storage will need to be heated/air conditioned/dehumidified to prevent rust. Possibly an idea to get a Carcoon?

Will need to make sure fluids are correct at the start - e.g. too much water in the coolant will corrode internally. (I think!) Plus, brake fluid gets dodgy after a couple of years due to absorbing water and lowering its boiling point.
Think you are supposed to leave the windows slightly open to allow (dehumidified/air conditioned!) air to flow through the car to prevent damp/smells etc.
Errr.....
Give Classic Car Magazine a ring!
May we ask what car is looking at being stored?
Is it of the Renault variety?
