Look at these boot pictures and please help me!

Ok im having some trouble with trying to figure out how to replace a boot lock... well put one on!

My phs 2 boot everything how it should be...

My brothers phs 2 CAR with a phs1 boot (cat d)

As you can see there is no boot lock....


My questions/Problems are as follows....

Can you put a phs 2 boot lock on a ph1? as the fittings look different
The plug hanging out of the phs1 boot what the hell is that for?
Will any lock work and just plug in?
Anyone got one for sale
Ant advice anyone has!?

There is no way a ph2 boot lock will fit a ph1 im pretty sure, there are'nt even any fixings for the bolts to go,

No idea what that wire is maybe boot lock? does it lock? i cant remember being a while since last took one off.

Don't worry about the above, just a small confusion but James has his account back now.

Anyway, a ph2 boot lock 10000% fits a ph1 boot, you need to search, someone did a thread/sort of guide.

It's quite a long discussion thread (I know I posted in it) but it shows you exactly how to do it basically.

Really?? i looked at the photo and it looked like it wouldnt fit but i dont know for sure so will keep shut :S
