surely if its council owned and its meant to be a secure car park then the council are liable for any damage caused to your car whilst you park there??? As you have paid money to park in their facilities

nah there will be a disclaimer hidden somewhere int he car park stating that cars and property are left at the owners risk and the council have no responsibilty over it.

can you go through your insurance ? do you have protected ncb ?

I only have three years unprotected NCB so will loose that plus I have a £200 excess if I do that. I'm just gonna have to bend over and grab my ankles on this one... Well and truely shafted!
