Loose Cable on engine loom - 2001 Clio 1.2

Hi and thanks to anyone that can help me with what seems to be a simple thing.

The car is a 2001 Clio 1.2 16v Dymanique.

New to cars but noticed under the bonnet during a routine check what seems to be a main cable loose.
had a look and can't see an obvious fixing point.

I've attached some photos as they explain it better I think. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's a red herring that cable - I've seen it many times and don't actually know myself what it is for. It is however nothing to worry about but I believe it is something for either an auto setup or an additional H02 sensor.

Thanks for the quick reply Mick was hoping it would be something like you suggested.
Daughters car so wouldn't want her driving it if it was something that should be hooked up, just never noticed it before.
Would it be safe to cable tie it loosely to a nearby cable stop it flapping about ?
