Loose Feeling Steering Wheel?

Steering wheel feels loose, its got play up and down, left and right.

I've got a Momo wheel and have had it off and on making sure its tight and its fine.

I've moved the steering wheel and grabbed the column under the dash and there is no movement there.

Any ideas or things to try?

Isn´t there a bearing on the steering wheel end of the coloumn? Could be shot.

I was talking to someone at FCS about their car doing this, he was 90% sure it was the bearing in the steering column.

That makes sense actually, Is it easy to pull out of another steering column and place in?

From what I remember Danny, you're fairly handy with a spanner, I'd definitely say that for you it's not too difficult, no.

P.s - give me a new price on that bumper, pwease?

I've got two front bumpers

Ones a bit slaggy though
