Loosing/deleting saved games?

Feck. I thought I'd got them all backed up. But installing Windows 7 afresh has clearly shown that I haven't.

Most are just a couple of hours I've lost (thank FCUK the Fallout 3 one is still there!) - but it looks like it will be back to the grindstone for some of them. Bollox.

Anyone lost any major saved games before now?

Yes.

I always install my games on a seperate drive, so usually if I need to reinstall windows the games and saves are still there. With GTA Vice city it saves them in my documents or somewhere (as alot of games do now) and it went with the reinstall of windows.

I was that pissed off at losing several hours of gameplay I never played it again.


I've actually done it with another game too but can't remember which. But I googled and found a save game file online that was at a similar point in the game.
