Loosing my clay virginity

Make sure the clay glides on the surface and you'll be fine.

Good luck! I tried doing mine a while back, but only done one panel as I was scared of damaging my paintwork!

not scary just make sure u have loads of lube and its a breeze first time round , but make sure u have the ocrrect clay bar needed not to abrasive

That and the clay is soft and warm and all should be fine.

Sounds obvious but also make sure you don't use it if you drop it on the floor as it will have stones and grit on it etc.

I'm having a go at claying this weekend. Can you just use diluted car shampoo as the lubricant?

2 or 3 capfuls of shampoo to 500 odd ml of water works fine.

yeah it can strip all the paint off and disolve your cars metal work
