losing coolant i think

ive noticed that since i had a new rad fitted the coolant level is sitting on minimum all the time...so i topped it up a little went for a spin for about 20 miles and checked it and its sitting on minimum again..im not leaking any water so could this be early signs of head gasket failiure...

Not good mate :dapprove: , did you install the rad very recently? may still have air trapped in there thats working it way out, checked the filler cap for the white gunk?

yeah the rads only 3 weeks old...

When i did a coolant change on the old 1.2 it did this, hopefully just that then mate, if not i'll see if my mate still has his compression tester & go from there

check for oil in water, water in oil.
Apart from that you can check for excess amount of white smoke from the exhaust (may even smell like hot coolant). All signs of a headgasket.

Did'nt see any steam/smoke when i was behind you mate, couldn't smell any thing either so hopefully just trapped air
