Lost locking wheel nut key

Car  130i
House has been torn to pieces, I'm thinking I must have left it on a wheel when tightening them a few days ago. So, what are my options. I'm reluctant to try hammers/welding a new nut on etc. I don't have the box it came in either as it was just loose in the glove box when I bought the car. Can Renault provide one from chassis number?

Ive seen a video on youtube where they knock a slightly smaller socket onto the nut with a hammer.. Seems to work a treat..

Thanks for all the advice. I have found some hopefully relevant numbers in my owners handbook and have asked a few traders for advice.
