Lost power chaotically

Hi everyone,
I own a 172 ph2 clio. Last month I've got some problems with throttle body. The warning led (the one near ESP) shows on and the "SERV". I put some contact spray on the plug and it shuts down and everything works just fine. When it was that bad contact from the plug, the car loose power chaotically, sometimes between 3k to 4k and sometimes over 6k to rev limit. When the "SERV" led was on the car stays at 2.2k rpm, like a service mode. The chaotically lost power happens when the warnings disappears (for a short amount of tine, like one or two hours).

Today, the same thing with the chaotically lost power happens, but nothing on warnings. However, I've changed the inner and outer steering rods and now my steering wheel is not perfectly straight, just on Monday I'll go to a steering alignment. And I think due to this, the ESP warning and SERV led became on after around 200meters when driving straight. But I'm not sure, hope that cause that warning. The car starts without warnings and then the ESP appears when I mention above.

Hope you can help me.

Thanks,
Radu

I clean the TDC sensor ( was a mess there ) and I will replace the spark plugs tomorrow. Hope this would solve the problem.

before throwing more money at it, get yourself a fault scanner or take it for a scan... that should point you in the right direction

Thanks for your replay. Well, the spark plugs are the original ones, 100k miles, so a new set was a must now. I will try to get a scanner.

So I should replace just the front one? The one before the cat? Oh, my exhaust is decated, I forgot to mention.

Yeh the one closest to the engine.

Or you could try swapping the front and rear ones to see if that improves anything.

The one after the cat just monitors the emissions but doesn't have any effect on fueling so if the front one is faulty but the rear one isn't then this might be a cheap fix

Thanks for your reply. I will try first a swap to see if it will make the engine run as it should. Do I need another fault scanner to erase the errors after I will swap or replace the lambda? I ask this because I don't own a scanner, for now.

Thats what I need, thanks you a lot. La 3rd fault was because I install the KTR induction kit and remove the valve.
