Loud Clang noise!!

One month old 172 and now and again i get a really loud "CLUNK" coming from the from of the car when i , pull away, reverse of the drive and turn sharply.

Any one no what this is as its starting 2 worry me!!

get something similar, though I wouldnt say it was loud nor do I get it cornering.

think its just the rear pads sticking to the disks?

Yup - my cars been in 4 times to sort this - its the engine mount on the left under the battery - needs a rubber bush - when the engiones under torque its clanging when pulling away (once the clutch is out) and practically every time you change gear in 1st, 2nd and thrird! Very annoying - sounds like somethings broken! Hopefully get it fixed this time!

Thanks, Yeah some one else mentioned the engine mount. Oh well Back 2 reno again!!

i took mine in and told them of this banging noise and straight away they booked me in and changed the engine, gearbox, and exhaust mounts, now i have no noise what so ever..... the only thing was they wernt clever enough to change one set of mountings and give it a test run to see if it was the one making the noise.... so i cant tell you which one it was
