Loud Clicking Noise When Turning Slowly??

Hi,

When I turn on full or even half lock I get a ticking noise from the front drivers side, it's sounds like when there's a stone in your tyre (there isn't) only a lot louder. My dad reckons it could be my CV joints, does this sound right and are they expensive and should I get both sides done - if that's what it is?/

get it checked at 1 of the dealers, unless u wanna replace all parts and find it IS sumthing simple

Anybody got any thoughts on what else this may be so I can be prepared for any BS when I have it looked at??

loosen top bolts both sides and torque them back up.

Have you been underthe car to look if any of the gaiters have come off/ripped?

i got the same problem mate but i dont know what it is either......

me too. had it for 2 years. a reno stealership said "it just happens" but didnt try n rape me for a "yeah........the whole car needs replacing" tho

happen more so on full lock when maneouvering? CV joint possible culprit
