Loud rumble/drone coming from front passenger side.

Went out for a drive tonight and as I was driving I noticed a strange, rather loud noise which seems to be coming from the passenger footwell. It only happens when I lift my foot off the accelerator (coasting). As soon as I touch the accelerator again it goes away. And I was just wondering what peoples thoughts are before I start to panic.

Wheel bearing?

That was my initial thought. But after a lot of (figure 8's) in asda car park and wheel wobbling, I ruled that out cos it wasn't making any unusual noises at all. I'm thinking it's more to do with my clutch or gearbox.

Did you find out if this was the bearing or not. I have the same problem
