loud whiring noise.

  ITB BG 182
Ive recently had the front brakes changed on the car, i keep gettng a loud droning noise coming from one of the wheels when i drive any faster than 40mph.

Can some one tell me where the guide is for changing the front discs and pads, just so i can check a few things.
Also is there any thing else i can be doing to check for just incase reasons.

Cheers.

is the droning constant when driving mate? could be one of the pads sticking but i cant help but think maybe a wheel bearing

jack it up and see if the wheels spin freely if they catch then clearly brake issue but if they spin then maybe look elsewhere at the bearing

did you wind the piston back in when changing the pads?
either that or wheel bearing as said.

Seconded on the wheel bearing - even if these are in a bad way it is easy to turn them anyway using the extra leverage of the wheel, drop the wheel off and see if the hub turns freely without any notching/clicks/roughness etc... Once they have started to break up inside they quickly eat themselves! ;)
