Lowered the RB.. abit.. Picture heavy and dirty car content

Well I finally got my new springs fitted - and tbh, im a little dissapointed

I dunno, I like low cars but I feel the rear is a little too low, or maybe the fronts too high? the ride feels very bouncy, but it could just be the springs are solid so maybe im feeling the bumps more..

I dont go Hooning about, so the handling aspect doesnt matter too much, i just like drivable lows, and i think if prefer the rear if the front was lower, maybe i should look in to coilovers?

Also i should mention, i now have 2 x 10" subs in the boot, which i didnt have the "before" photos

Anywho.. ill let the pics do the talking, please keep the comments positive and constructive..

i know that lol,springs have literally just been done so they still need time to settle, but i would like the front lower so maybe look for some coilovers?

They are brand new out of the box, fitted at the same time as the springs, one of my old shocks were leaking

so brand new cup-packed shocks from wests renault on here, and eibach prolines that have been dipped and re-wound by about 20-30mm

As said. Raise the rear a little and it will look 100% better IMO.

Cheers! I think if you raise the back, get it with a little more rake, it will look low but purposeful still. And should prevent you bouncing around as much

Think I'm gonna find some coilovers for the front for more lows, can always return to standard when I get bored!

Any recommendation for coilies for lows? I don't hoon about and don't do track days so handeling isn't an issue, do ktecs go much lower at the front?

Did you even read the op? Fitted brand new shocks and rewound springs
(as well as the audio) the springs are eibach prolines rewound down another 30mm or so on top of the standard drop

read the op and it mentions before and after shots with the subs in (makes no difference)

lol, they are dipped in molten lead and rewound using a digital compress machine, how they make springs in the first place..

This, cooksport springs seem to be rated the best on here. However if your going to go for coilovers i'll take you out in mine if you want to feel the difference daily driving.

Just got home from work and the front springs have started to settle nicely, infact it's a lot lower now, so doesn't look so rakey, ill get some pics on flat ground tomorrow

i understand you all don't like it, but there we are, thanks for looking anyways

the roads round here are shocking as I'm sure ash' ^ can tell you, but the ride isn't as harsh as I thought at first,

although the front wheels are rubbing when cornering so ill have to do something there

Would coilover adjusters not work? You could buy some and pop them on the rear to raise it if they fit onto non coilover based springs.

New pictures on flatter ground, the front has settled abit, so it doesnt look so arse down, pictures dont really do it justice and none of you like it, but i do

parked next to my s**tbox 106GTI - dont hate the lexarse lights, i have smoked MR's that look ALOT better, but they dont have reflectors in, and the car came with lexus lights which do, and needed them to pass the mot :|

Deffo needs spacers and rear camber, just abit lol

and front spacers!

But ill wait til my new wheels arrive before i look in to that!
