Lowering 16V

Was looking at my 16V today and i have decided it need dropping. On a bit of a budget at the mo. Is it posible to just get the lower springs and lower the rear torsion bar. The cars got 17s with low profiles. Doesnt rub at all with 5 people in the car at the moment. Or if i do it like this will it be a bit of a bumppy ride?? Cheers

mines lowered 35mm on just springs with torsion bar to match. its on standard shocks and is pretty good to be honest. probably not as good as uprated shocks but none too shabby and fine for the type of driving i do,

Yer so u recon its a good way of doing it on a budget? How much u pay for fitting at that?

bought it like that mate. think a garage will charge about 50 for the front and 30 for the rear though

Ok that aint to bad. so for like 150 i could get the clio lowered. Would do it myself but it to much hastle for me. Cheers
