Lowering Advice Please :D

  Megane 225 Cup
From my mate Phil who also has a clio :D

Hey lads..

I have a Clio phase 2 mk 1 (same as nicks just older)

I have bought some 60mm lowering springs off a mate, wondering how to fit them, is it just a matter of taking off the old ones and putting the new ones in?

Will they go on easily? will they need to be compressed or anything???

Specialist tools or anything like that?

All help most appreciated - me and Nick are complete newbies to this

Thanks

Phil

On my MK1 (suspention cant be to diff) Only special tools you would need is a 21mm(?) deep ring spanner.......this is to hold the top suspention plate from under the bonnet, while un-screwing the allen-key on the actual suspention strut.

After that you WILL need spring compresors........appart from that, just standard tools!
