Lowering height of seats?

Is there a guide on here how to remove the spacers on the standard 172 seats?

I seem to remember its a case of undoing the bolts and just slipping them out?

Yeah there is a guide.

I've done it, its simple. 4 bolts underneath the car, lift the seat up, remove the mounts and refit.

The bolts are still under the car :rasp: but yes, Gray is right, its 4 13mm (iirc) nuts underneath the car and a deep socket is useful

You will want a few washers with 10mm holes if you want to still allow the seat to slide. Putting it right down means it binds on the carpet so wont slide any more, putting a couple of washers on each bolt raises it enought to allow it to still slide. Its what I have done, works a treat (need to do the passenger seat somewhen...
