Lowering on 15s

Just got my new (well, second-hand) set of 15" Imolas fitted, but Id rather get it lowered ASAP to remove any trace of the "4x4" about it. Was thinking either 35, 40 or 55mm springs for the front, and lowering the same at the back. Would there be any problems with relation to rubbing, especially with the rear as I tend to have a couple of people in the car with me. Suggestions please!

I guess youve got 195/50 tyres?

If you have, and carry people, a 35mm drop should do it.

Was looking at the K-Tec 35mm and 55mm springs, but was just wondering whether 55mm would be too low if Im carrying the occasional heavy load. And yes I have 195/50/15 tyres.

i dunno if urs does but mine aint been lowered and with two peeps in back it rubs on bumps so im gonna go 35mm wen i have mine done (i have 15" rims, 185/50 tyres)

ild do the same if you dont want any rubbing and to be able to have ppl in rear ,

Whats everyones experiences on the best springs to get? The K-Tec ones are nice but I could go a little cheaper, too skint to get an entire replacement suspension kit lol

i brought some for £38 + p&p from Jamex. Aint arrived yet tho

well mines same shape near enough and i have dropped it 55mm and tortion bar to match and i had no problems with ppl in the back unless goin mad over bumps of course lol!

i think you need a slightly bigger drop with 15s personally you need to fill the arch up but each to their own hehe!

Im personally going for a 55mm drop, if it rubs on the back G-max do uprated dampers for £30 a piece for the back of the clio

Cool. Well a few mixed opinions I think Ill do it at least 40mm, or 55mm then save up to get decent suspension
