Lowering Springs/coil overs

  Golf 7.5R & Clio 200
I was about to buy some of the K-Tec lowing springs (60mill) when my friend said I should buy coil overs instead....

I always thought they were for cars designed for the track.. What would you suggests? I'm a bit of a noob I know....

well you have a 1.2, do you really want to slam it? if you want to drop it a little then get springs. if you want to slam it then buy some cheap coilovers mate
oh and if you want to go less than 40mm with springs you should probably buy different shocks. and it would ultimatly be cheaper to buy some cheap coilovers

basically, want to go low, buy coilovers. raceland ones are about £180

Buy coilovers and slam it ! Other wise you will buy springs lower it 40/60mm then realise its not enough and you will end up buying coilovers anyway (imo)

90% of coilovers you can buy are for the road rather than the track. To be honest a good spring and damper will outperform a cheap coilover kit. Be aware you spend extra for the ability to adjust the height.
