Lowering Springs on Authentique

  C4 Grand Picasso

Just fitted Mk2 172 alloys on my 1.2 Authentique (52 plate). I had light scuffing on nearside back wheelarch when cornering hard, I cut a peice out of the plastic wheelarch lining so sort this.

The problem now is that I would like to lower it a bit (around 30mm). Does anyone know if I would have any more scuffing if I just replace the springs with PIs (also, is it as easy as it looks to replace them, I read the DIY guide on Cliosport site and thought Id have a go myself).

I searched the forum for answers, but only found info on Dynamiques.

Its the same thing..just dynamiques are the most popular. Youre going to get flamed for only going 30mm!! People with 172 wheels have got spacers.

Cheers, what size spacer am I looking at, and will I need them on all 4 wheels or just the rear?

Can I get away with the standard wheel bolts with 5mm spacers, or that a bit dodgy?
