Lowering Suspension

I've got a 172 Ph 2 in Flame Red. It's got the standard 5 spoke alloys and I'm looking at lowering it.

What are people's advice?

35mm drop?

I don't want it to rub at all.

I'm also looking to improve handling slighty without buying full suspension kit.

Car is completley standard (51 Reg)

wont rub one bit but.

apex 40mm springs give a good drop on the sports
eibachs are better for handling but doesnt lower it anywhere near as much as the apex springs

Ill have a set of eibach sportline springs for sale. They give around a 30mm drop. Only been on the car a month but upgrading to coilovers next week. Paid £133 new but ill be selling for £90.00 comes with original Invoice and box.
