Lowering the 182

  Clio 182 Full fat
looking to lower the 182 want the wheels to sit just in the arch, i dont want it sitting on its arse but just so the gap goes,

how much can you lower a 182 without rubbing or troubles?

would like coilovers but i cant justify spending 700 quid + fitting, i dont use it enough, would like a good set of springs if the shocks are ok with it ?

bit of advice cheers lads!

  Whichever has fuel
just some 40mm apex springs on standard shox are the best budget/performance compromise. £90 to buy, about £50 to fit.

The ride will be s**t and Your shocks will probably start leaking after about 10000 miles, but the car will look coolio daddyo.
