Lowering the valver a smidge help...

Ive decided im going to cross the standard line but only slightly and lower the valver by a few mm, not sure how much yet maybe 15mm just so the tip of the back tyres go under the arch..

now then!

what do I need to get this done? do I need new springs etc.. etc..? i have no idea as ive never really bothered looking into it. And while im there is there any perishable parts that I can get changed while im there? bushes I heard mentioned a while back to sharpen it up a bit?

Im really not made of money at the moment so any advice on how much it should cost all in would be very handy aswell as what I can expect when I get it back - Im so used to the setup I dont want it to change all that much maybe slightly better sharpness in direction changes would be nice!

Thank you!

Front:

is easy mate, just undo old struts and replace with new struts! Only 4 bolts each side iirc!

Rear:

Piece of piss mate!

Jack the rear end of your motor up, sit it on Axle stands, remove dust caps on end of torsion bars, measure from middle of hub to ground and make a not of this, place a jack under said hub, extract torsion bar fully both sides, jack up hub till 60mm higher, knock both torsion bars back in, replace dust caps and you should be done mate!

If you need any more help give me a shout!

Only got mine done 1 notch on the torsion bar which is about 15 mm. Would not go any lower personally. Front is a little lower but scrape centre part of exhaust on speed humps and would not want any lower making it more impractical.
