Lowering

As a follow up to yesterdays thread. Ive been looking into a set of lowering springs.
Im a carpenter, i know piss all about cars. So if im talking like a no nothink nonse, i apoligise.

I have such a small budget. Having two holidays a trip to ny and two fests along with other stuff coming up im looking at around pref under 100 but could stretch to 150.
Were do i start? Been looking at FK, Eibach and Gmax. Im riding on 14" at the mo, and if im going to be spending alot, i want it to be lowwww as i can on springs. If im going, 60mm say, do i need shocks too? I suppose if i go and visit my old man and give him a nudge he'll do it for me so no need for labour. Just looking for advice as your all very good with it

this is a 1.4 sport on 14" wheels with a 60mm drop. Not sure about the shocks as I bought it like this.

Is that what you're after? (because the ride is quite "choppy" to say the least...)

Yeah thats exactly what i'm after. Ive been riding on cut springs, and had a broken front spring only a month or so ago, so im pretty use to it. And not bothered either way!

If you want low, then 60mm apex do as you wish.

No need for shocks or anything, I ran my non sport like that for over a year with no issues.

Eibach are a better ride, but only go as low as sportlines, the apex are just fine though IMO.
