Just driving to the mrs place in yate and leaving home went round a corner and the back end of the cup just broke loose. The car started to spin just caught it but f***ed the splitter and a turini that made contact with the armco barrier. Gutted but could of been a lot worse. Anyone have a spare turini and splitter!!!

I didnt think so i was following a car at bout 40 round corner getting ready to join Mway and it broke loose. Something on road??? i dunno. Was expecting a lot of damage (missed barrier by mm's) when i got out but looks like just lots of wildlife underneath , a tired splitter and alloy and shes pulling to the left.

Cheers mate are you based in weston havent seen another 172 cup about except mine. Typical though just saved up for a remap decat and angelworks inlet!!

yeah live in worle! i only had mine like a month but im off with a bad back so cant drive it! i seen another one in homebase carpark last week??? (yours) not quite the minter i want it to be! cracked the splitter when it came off the lorry from the valeting company so was gutted. and the turinis are abit kerbed but i want a spare! dont trust thay tyreweld! i'll refurb the 5 in one go lol! not planning on doing anything engine wise but coileys and decent brakes/tyres are on the list! where abouts are you?

Check your rear shock absorbers as this can have this affect. Sorry to hear that mate.

Gonna put it on ramp tomorrow and check cheers!! That prob would of been me in homebase car park CV52 is reg based in worle by the summerhouse at the mo thats two cups in weston with f'ed splitters now. would like to turn mine into a minter but it has to work hard for a living.

ill get there! mines just hittin 34k (VF03)so its worth it! 2minor scratches an bout 5 lil dents! 3 on bloody bonnet! mine works hard enough aswell commutings the big problem! although its only up the m'way 1 junction! i cant believe the price of the splitter from renault tho! 130 quid i got quoted! stick that! wish id glued and sprayed the old one before ripping it off! leson learnt i guess! have to keep an eye out i live up the queensway! havent seen many others about to be fair! but im on the case of a couple of turinis as we speak lol!
(undecided weather toi get new or 1 to refurb as mine need doing anyway)

Possibly damp patch on the bend or ice, it was very frosty in my area this morning.

Had the car on the ramp today only damage is a few scratches on the plastic undertray and the cap on the undertray to get to the sump plug has gone . Apart from that the tracking was a mile out!! Ordered ktec splitter today are they a good fit??
