I was lucky enough to pick this up a couple weeks ago. Mint condition, one owner, all original 56,000 miles.

One owner! Wow! Lovely that mate, what are your thoughts on it? I’ve never driven one so looking forward to it

I was 13 when these cars came out and ever since I've always wanted one. I bought the car because of the looks and how bonkers it is that a Clio has a 3.0l v6 in the back! Driving the car. It's quick but not blow you away quick, car handles great but I would never drive the car on the edge. The best part is the sound of the engine behind you when you're blasting down a B road.

I've read a bit about the 'Spike Janspeed' exhaust. I have emailed Janspeed and they said they can make one for £819+vat.

Anyone any thoughts on if this is worth it?

I've got a custom job on mine (plus janspeed manifolds and cats)

Probably cheaper than doing a janspeed, mine has an X pipe in it so it screams up top. Must sort a decent driveby video soon.

Is it fair to say a Spike made today will be the same as the old ones, I'm unsure if its changed in design due to EU emissions nonsense for example. It doesnt include the manifolds it says

Aftermarket isnt affected by this. Should be the same.

£90k + Fees is crazy and its not the lowest of miles either compared to the LY.

I must say that I would much rather the Acid Yellow than the LY as the acid is just an amazing colour like no other.

Just arrived! Need to get the sticky dash plastic sorted, and the gearknob has scratches I'd like to polish out some how - anyone any ideas?! Off for PPF then a good interior valet as I think Stevie Wonder must have done it haha

Should be a beadblasted type finish, get it reblasted then fill the markings back in perhaps?

Have you connected with Scott at SG Motorsport? He'll likely steer you in the right direction for any work needed.

Nice! I’ve just done my sticky plastic handles. Hot water and a brillo pad gets the sticky stuff off. You’re left with black with silver specs. Not sure if that’s standard or needs sprayed black. [emoji848]

Brillo pad do you have a picture so I can compare? I am assuming the Vee has exactly the same interior trim as the 182 etc?
