Mac Software - Recommend some

Looking for some decent applications for OSX, anybody care to recommend any?

Doesn't matter what they do, just interested what's about for Mac :)

bootcamp......... then windows vista/xp. all sorted :D

I use a MAC G5 at work, but have vista on it aswell. I don't really OSX that much, but it all looks very nice. as for apps....... i only have the usual stuff on there, photoshop/flash/dreamweaver etc.

If you are into video editing, final cut studio is pretty trick!

There are some interesting 3rd party apps, most of which are free on apple's website. The whole spinning cube/virtual desktop thing was very cool, but latest OSX has its own version built in (sadly no spinning cube though)

at the end of the day, pretty much anything you can get on a mac, you can get on a PC, except for those smaller 3rd party apps perhaps.

Thats parallels mate. Its free and lets you run windows within mac os x. So no need to reboot. You can either have windows windows (LOL) on your osx desktop or you can use the spinny cube where it spins the screen to go from windows to mac osx.

Beryl is a desktop utility for Linux, basically virtual desktop. Kinda like Windows Aero.

I found some info on a similar tool for OSX called 'Quartz' but I'll be damned if I can find anywhere to download it.

Anybody heard of Quartz?

Quartz is the graphics subsystem in OS X, you already have it!
