Magnatec.. the down low..

Running magnatec 10w-40 atm. Just feel the engine is a bit tappety. Clio 1.4 16v 2004 with 36k on it. Not massively tappety but surely there is something that runs a little quieter? or is more suitable

I've got that in at the moment and mine sounds the same as it did before on 5w-30 though I always thought this engine sounds quite tappenty on idle.
People seem to like 5w-40, will be using that next time.

I hate magnatec, makes my car sound like a bag of spanners! Almost everything has been quieter for me, even Halfords stuff!
