Magnetic signs on bodywork!

Bit of a random question here guys,I have to do a survey tommorow for work, just got to pull up for a few hours and monitor traffic, theyve gave me a small magnetic sign (about the same size as a reg plate) to put on my car saying "caution surveying"

Just a quick query, these damage paintwork at all? Its going to be on the back and not moving or anything because im going to be stationary.

This may seem a silly question, but just checking with you guys

magnetic L plates leave fine scratches

once should be ok but if you keep putting them in the same place over and over scratches will be noticable

Tape it to the glass/put a microfibre cloth underneath it. I hope you have business use on your insurance as well, could be quite an expensive day otherwise ;)

As said just put some kind of material/cloth between the magnets and your bodywork.

agree with all the above , yes fine cloth underneath, repeated use is when you get scratches, & problems.... (6 years in sign game...lol)
