Magnex exhaust

Hey all

What do you think to this exhaust for my 172 ph2?

What sort of sound / performance will it give?

Don't do it

I had one of these and it didn't look good....pipe bore just too big for the car and weighed a ton.

Sounded nice but I just couldn't live with the looks

Nothing wrong with the pipe bore.

Its a good exhaust apart from the back box which looks out of place , dosent mount well and is way too heavy for the car

i got the oval one and had to seriously modify the mounts on it to make it fit on my car which has a kit on it just wudnt sit right after about 7 attempts of bending rewelding and sanding it now sits right

By pipe bore I meant the exit/tailpipes...IMO twin 3.5 looked f**king stupid on the Clio.

b****cks the bore size is optimum for the 172 mk2, its 2.5"! agreed its abit on the large side though, however it sounds great especially with a de-cat & there very well made. also alot of people have had problems with the mounts, if you do get 1, get the person fitting it to fabricate you a new mount, thats what i did & i haven't had any problems at all. as for looks its in the eye of the beholder, as in its upto you, i like the oval box, i think it looks mean, but thats just my opinion.

i have the 3.5" twin on my RS on that pic the backbox is nowhere near that small. they are good systems but the backbox is far too big. Sounds lovely with a decat pipe
