magnex exhaust

how you doing guys jst put a magnex cat back system on my clio 182 but am not sure what the score is with the cat,what a difference the exhaust made.anyway i am just wondering any of you guys done such mods,if so would appreciate some feedback,i read you have problems with management lights,is this true?i have a price from rms in ayr £75 fitted but if its worth doing and what gains if any thanks:race:

Theres defo gains to be had with a decat. It will however through up the engine managment light, well it did in my case.

just a heads up however alot of the boys i know that use RMS have had alot of problems with the stuff from there. Ive also heard about alot of other bad stuff! pm me if you want any details

Managment light only comes on if you plug the second lamba back in, tape/cover it up & whack it up in the heat shield, never had the light come on once in 8 months now.. second lamba is just for reading emissions, first one from the engine is the one you need, the older PH1 172's only came with one lamba

They dont go wrong as such... the car just thinks the cat is broken/leaking as its reading to much Co2 levels coming through thats why you just keep it plugged in but reading fook all up in the heat shield

thanks for that mate surely theres only so many welds on such a short pipe,how could they f**k that up?a wouldnt say i would get a full system done there as i just picked up a cat back system from roadrunner motorsport £265 posted magnex.

its not the fact they f**k it up, its the welds are so bad they fall apart very easily and you end up having to get it fixed again and again and again
