major noise! please help

when reving hard in 1st and 2nd it sounds like the exhaust is hitting against the heat shield underneath the gearstick

i tried bending the heat sheild a bitn where the cat joins the manifold and is very close to the heatshield but that hasn't worked

when i bought the car a montha ago ish, it had a new top engine mount but i read somewhere on here that it may not be set up right

i've been searching for the thread for a while but can't seem to find it

any suggestions or help would be much appreciated

sounds like common fault manifold hitting subframe to setup engine position loosen top gearbox mount and top mount (cambelt side) and tug the engine as far forward as u can should sort it out mate
