making your cat into decat anyone?

I'm thinking of offering to turn your cat pipe into decat by cutting out the cat and welding stainless pipe inplace of the cat.

Would anyone be interested?

Good idea but most people would be screwed come MOT time unless they know of a friendly MOT tester

only problem doing what your saying is surely you cant gaurentee that it will pass the MOT if you good do more of a sports cat would be much better

why not just buy a decat pipe for £70 and keep the cat for mot time?

I remembered when I had my CTR someone on the CTR fourm done that with a hammer and a long screw driver and fcuked it up it's cheaper jus buying a decat and keeping the cat for MOT time

i done it on my 1.2, cut it open took everything out then welded it back up, worked fine but that was only because no 1 made a decat for them lol
