Anyone had any problems with such?
Had my car for a couple of years and I think it has always been running with a possible manfiold gasket blow or something as when i first got the car you could hear a slight such noise under heavy load which has got worse, noticably so over the past few months (now do heavy miles).
Now before I describe the symptoms it is NOT the bottom end. It takes regualr abuse and covered over 15k since I bought it with good oil pressure, so if this were the problem it would have blown LONG before now...
Anyway, this noise is like an exhuast blowing noise and can hear it most when booting it from low revs in a high gear and you can almost hear a blowing like noise. As the revs build the noise goes away (as exhaust gets louder essentially) there is no knocking noise etc.
This noise when you blip the throttle comes essentially from the back of the head, so could be gasket or a crack somewhere?
Anyone had any such problems?
