Manifold to Cat spring bolts

One of the bolts which fastens the cat to the manifold has burnt away and rattles like mad when I get between 3 and 4 thousand revs - really annoying.

Does anyone know where I can get these bolts from? They have a large spring surrounding the bolt itself.

you have to buy a fixing kit from renault.

it consists of a metal gasket and all the springs/washers. it's about £20 inc vat

Got to take the car in to have new exhaust bolts re-tightened so I'll get them to do it then. What should I ask for when I go to Renault.

you need to ask for a "manifold to cat fitting kit" and give them your reg. no.

if they can't find it from that, which i doubt knowing renault, then i'll get you the part number if required. it's one part number for the whole kit.

Another advantage of fitting a 182 manifold. Messing with zorsts / cat is all done under the car, no leaning in the engine bay at back breaking angles

How much is the 182 f@nnymold again, and aren't they rarer than rocking horse sh1t?

k-tec sell them now...for the price of a reasonable three-bed semi.
