When I bought my 182FF I was told it had the 98RON Map on it?

Is this an RS tuner map and is there anyway of validating it as I have no paperwork for it?

Usually you don't get a 4500 rpm kick and it ticks over at 1000 rpm..

This ^^^ Smooths out the kick and idles at 950-1000 much smoother when cold too .

Plus your limiter will be 7500 when up to temperature

Or plug it into an RS Tuner at a local meet or something.

Doesn't need a license to check the ECU "history" IIRC.


5k kick, 7500 limit (the rev counter is hardly precise) or "smooth" idle etc. could be somewhat difficult to determine if you've only ever driven one 1*2 etc.

I've never been able to fully cure my idle. I've changed injectors and plugs which has massively improved it but still not 100%.

Chi how would I go abut checking that? I've got paperwork for matched inlets so it's possible it could of been messed around with at some point.

The cars I have with cams make a totally different noise.. It could be described as lumpy.
I'm no expert though perhaps the previous owner can shed some light..
