Maps... Sat-Nav...

Been using my phone and the Maps/Sat-Nav a bit recently and I'm not sure if I'm being stupid or if it's even possible BUT can you set it to a night mode like most Sat-Nav's do?

Driving along at night it is a tad bright and lights up the whole cabin of the car.

best bet is NavFree from the app store, its just been updated and is brilliant!

I either use Google's maps (has been flawless for me), or I use 'GPS Navigation 2'.

I used to use NavFree, but deleted it last year. The update looks pretty good though as MatthewR says.

Can't beat the tomtom app IMO.

M8 is the best of the free nav apps I think... Has night mode too
