Similar drop?

The reason I ask is i've seen Mat's Trophy on 2118s i've always love the wheels anyway but worried about the 15s looking under-wheeled with just springs.

Is that just springs in pic above? Looks fine.
I want 2118s too but don't think the sportlines give enough drop to suit it well

I thought his number plate said t**t at first glance, lol.

I believe Mark Fish springs lower the ride height a lot more than the Sportlines I use. Maybe pick up some Sportlines 2nd hand, try them then if you're not happy move them on and go down the MF route?

I have Eibachs, Mat had MF springs. Hmmm!

Hmmm swap some Turinis for 2118s. :o

Lol at that number plate, car looks good!

ive heard from a few people that mark fish is better from what they've had on the car.

I bloody loved that Trophy. Was one of the reasons I bought mine!

Any still shots mate, kinda hard to tell under load. Do you remember how it sat?

I think that it looks very slightly front high, I didnt get any shots but am hope this weekend so will get some.

Im taking the springs off in the next week or two to try some cooksport ones which are another option you could try as they seem to sit the front a touch lower.

Found this one james took showing the front, excuse the state of the front wheel I had just done a bit of grasstracking in it, lol

Sadly it only shows the front though! :(

Just a ballhair but it sits a ballhair high at the front on the turinis anyway. Oh decisions. Would probably be a swap anyway.

Its a shame that apex are crashy, this is mine on apex rears and coilover fronts, but apex springs alone sit at a similar height at the front, so it would look the same just not drive nicely:

Such a shame it doesnt just sit 10mm lower at the front, would be perfect then.

Hopefully the cooksport springs will help it!

Thanks very much Lesley, much appreciated.

That certainly doesn't look bad to me. I always heard Apex on most cars are much lower but in no way refined. I prefer Eibachs on any car, always trustworthy imo.

Im sure Lesley wont mind posting you up her Eibachs to try in a week or two when I have swapped them over?

I was stupid and didn't make it clear in the OP that I run Eibachs just now. :)

Would just be a wheel change in my case. :)

Whats the appeal of going to 15" rims Gally?

you going to be out in it at FCS on track?

I think you misunderstand :o I would only consider 2118s. For looks mostly as always. I think they are a stunning wheel.

So you don't want any more Mark Fish & 15's pics?

Lols not unless they are 2118s. Eibachs on a Trophy with 2118s would be perfect if someone can find a picture. :o

You're the man! You keeping the 2118s Gold mate? You know I think you're crazy! ;)

I think Trophys look great on 2118's, I've got them on mine with mark fish springs. No pics though as its still at the fabricators :(
