probably been asked a million times,

my car is standard but will be getting a itg panel in the future,

im after, more bhp, torque, better mpg and maybe a little increase on the rev limeter,

whats best? remap, groupN, superchip?

i dont want exhaust and decat......

thanks :)

its easy to get 40 on the motorway but i usually get about 30mpg or less!

its hard to get good gains from the 182 engine without spending a lot of cash, im going for induction, exhaust, decat/cat mod, matched inlets and the RS tuning remap and see how it goes after that, only other engine mod i will consder is Cam's other than personally i dont think it is work it.

Re-map can be done by Rs Tuning at Leeds....or DIY for less than half the price with Fastchips RS Tuner.....http://www.fastchip.nl/component/pa...roduct_id,18/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,26/

looks complicated, ill have to get intocu with rs to see how much it will be, do we get cs discount?

Paul Murray Of RS Tuning is a member on here, I do believe there is some club discount. Re-map is around £300 iirc. Driven a 172 with his re-map, power delivery is smoother than standard.

lol,

people go on, on here, about doing 30-32mpg i struggle to do 27mpg and thats driving normally :(

driving normal (by all means not slow) i get an average of 36mpg. 27 is shockingly bad! must be thrashing about most of the time

nope i dont, nice n steady, higher gears at low speeds, sticking to the speed limit and still i struggle to get better than 27mpg :dapprove: im sure a remap will sort this out

I get around 38 if I use the motorway to work and back with a little local running about. Otherwise its about 33-34 (but I drive like a pensioner sometimes)..lol
