Hi another random question for you mechanics out thetre lol!
if a car (clio 172 2001) was driven through a puddle sucked all the water up through the pipercross air filter sucked into engine, driver keeps going but car starts to judder so turns car off what are the possibilities of the piston damaging the bores or will it more than likey be just a bent conrod!!

more than likely a bent conrod, water doesnt compress...

suppose if car was driven with a bent rod piston would "oval" the bore
