Media sharing/networking with ps3.

  a burnt one
Ok, my desktop, laptop and ps3 are all on the same network but my laptop is the one i have all my files on.

My ps3 only recognises my desktop while my desktop recognises both the ps3 and laptop.

Basically i want to stream media from my laptop to the ps3 but cant, is it a case of the laptop not having the primary connection to the router, seeing as the desktop is the one thats all wired up?

  DCi
is it vista on the laptop?

I'm guessing it is anyway... Start > control panel > network and sharing centre > under the picture of the globes, you should see the title of your network and on the right it should say 'customize' > click on that and change your network to 'private' > this will enable you to share your media via windows media centre/player
