mega heat shield rattle

everyone has the old zorst mani rattle when 4k-5k dont they?
well mine recentlly has got really loud.
at least i think its the heat shield thats fell down abit but its really noisey between 4k to 5k then goes off again?

anyone?

Check rear exhaust mounts too. If rubber in rear mount is gone, this will vibrate and sound exactly the same.

Could also be rattle in centre section.

But otherwise, new heatshield.

Get it to kwikfit/ somewhere cheap where they'll stick it up on the ramps for nothing if theyre quiet.

cheers mate sounds like its defo coming from the front but now you mention it i think il giv it some revs with ma head to the ground. if it is the headshield is it a arse to get out, ie pinned in by the mani or will it jus be a few pins and swing it out?

Exactly the same issue on mine, started as just a Vibration noise like a loose washer or something, Now its stupid loud.

Got my mate who used to work at ATS to have a quick look, My Heat Shield is loose but the noise is the Baffles in the center box that have gone.

o dear, looks like god is telling me to rip out my zorst and put in a not so eco freindly stright though system!
