Mega wash mitt

I recently bought a meguiars lambs wool wash mitt,

Ive used it 3 times but when washing it out earlier and run my damp hand over it, I got covered in fluff!

Is this normal or is it falling apart?

Did you machine wash it?

Wool washmitts should be only washed by hand.

Not by the sounds of it. It should shed a few hairs now and again but not like your making it sound.

Megs ones were a bit hit and miss for me, I went through a fair few over a 2-3 year period before switching mitts. Some fell apart, some had corn and straw in them, and others were great and lasted a long time.

If it is left damp after washing it will rot the glue holding the fibers in place.

Wash then dry. That will solve your issue.
