Megane brake discs / big pics

  Ultra 197 ex 172 Cup
FAO Fred / Eddie / Mechanic

I got these discs of ebay cos they were cheap £15, I told the guy its for a 1.4 meg 2004,

They sent me the EV112 discs as below, but my megane has the vented discs so i am assuming they should have sent me the EV113 discs ?

These solid discs they sent me are about 1cm smaller in width and about 4mm smaller in thickness.

Is it wrong to fit these, shall i sell them on ? doubt the guy / company will send me replacements, and my ebay acct is now suspended.

They look like rear disks, send them back, dont use them. Also dont use drilled disks, have you got a death wish!

An important note about drilled rotors: Drilled rotors are typically only found (and to be used on) race cars. The drilling weakens the rotors and typically results in microfractures to the rotor. On race cars this isn't a problem - the brakes are changed after each race or weekend. But on a road car, this can eventually lead to brake rotor failure - not what you want. I only mention this because of a lot of performance suppliers will supply you with drilled rotors for street cars without mentioning this little fact.

Its only a 1.4 megane, i been looking on his ebay shop, and he still sells them, as front discs, i think they have just sent me the diesel ones or something, wher ei should have had the EV113's, i have emailed him and asked him if he will be nice and swap them :)

Put the old disc back on as its ok, only took it off cos they keep on grinding and the abs comes on all the time, so think i just need to clean the abs sensor.

Agree with Pep^ the reason why it ends up on ebay is likely down to not being able to sell this sort of shite in a shop.

nah, no where near, they are drilled for a start, un branded etc
